INTERACTIVE WORKSPACE FOR 3D SPATIAL DATA VISUALISATION AND VOLUME CALCULATION USING THE IDW METHOD

 

Visualize 3D Spatial Data

Users can paste coordinate data (Contour, Value, and Work Area) to instantly generate an interactive 3D model. This model displays the ground surface, a 3D shape based on a specific value (isosurface), and project boundaries, which can be freely rotated, zoomed, and inspected.


Analyze and Calculate

The tool allows for in-depth analysis through several features:

  • 2D Slicing: Use sliders to view cross-sections of the model's interior.

  • Volume Calculation: Instantly calculate the volume of material that meets three criteria: above a Cut-Off Value, inside the Work Area, and below the Contour Surface.

  • Real-time Control: Adjusting the cut-off value immediately updates the 3D model and the calculated volume. A button is also available to toggle the contour surface's visibility for clearer analysis.

  • Interactive Visualization: The application displays three interactive plots: a Log Plot showing the curve vs. depth with color-coded badhole zones, a Distribution Histogram to check data spread, and a Box Plot to identify statistical outliers.

  • Statistical Analysis: A summary table provides key descriptive statistics for the selected curve, including mean, median, standard deviation, and min/max values.

  • Customizable Badhole Detection: The program automatically flags bad data using Caliper-Bit Size differences, Casing locations, and DRHO values. All detection thresholds are fully adjustable by the user for precise quality control.

  • Data Cleaning & Repair: Users can instantly act on flagged data with one-click tools to delete bad points, interpolate gaps using a spline algorithm, remove negative values, or restore the data to its original state at any time.

  • LAS File Export: After processing, the cleaned and conditioned log data can be downloaded as a new, correctly formatted .LAS file, ready for further analysis.
